Drawings at Ground Zero

Corner of Greenwich St. and Albany St.

This truck washing station looks for all the world like the top of a Conestoga Wagon. Every loaded truck that leave Ground Zero is washed down, top, bottom, sides, front and back, with nozzles that line the washing hood. They spray at such a pressure that the truck will seem to disappear in the whiteness for a few moments. After each truck, the floor is sprayed down by workers in hazmat suits.
