Drawings at Ground Zero |
Construction at the corner of Greenwich St. and Rector St.
11:30PM, Nov. 19, 2001 These men are working directly beneath the temporary overpass that the loaded trucks rumble across day and night. It is nearly midnight now and the area is lit like day, with the constant roar of generators filling the air. An icy whipping wind pulls at everything and clouds of steam from an exhaust chimney roll overhead. |
